Club Info
The Carnegie Tech Radio Club (also known by our FCC-issued callsign, W3VC) is a student organization at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We've been around since 1914 and had a few different callsigns over the years, including W8NKI and W3NKI. We are funded by the Carnegie Mellon Student Activities Fee and led by an executive staff of three individuals in addition to the club trustee.

Our radio shack is located in Hamerschlag Hall 4102. Take the main stairs or elevator as high as you can, then keep going up the tiny stairs from there. The phone number to the shack is 412-681-7586, but will only be answered if someone is there when it rings.
